Are you a senior journalist from the press gallery looking for a new opportunity? Or a seasoned operator from a minister’s office? We’re looking for a politically sharp Media Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our national media strategy and help shape public debate on higher education. It’s a chance to argue a national case rather than report on one, in one of the few sectors that touches every part of Australian life.
The Senior Adviser: Advocacy and Government Relations supports UA’s engagement with government, parliament and members and helps turn organisational priorities into effective advocacy. Reporting to the Head of Advocacy and Government Relations, the role provides high-quality writing, coordination, political and parliamentary intelligence and practical support across UA’s advocacy program.
