The Chief Executive Officer will exhibit the proactive leadership and advocacy skills to position UA as the leading voice of the Australian higher education sector, enabling it to help shape the future of the sector through expert policy advice, analysis, advocacy and media commentary.

The Chief Executive Officer will combine first-hand experience of public policy development and implementation with the capacity to engage effectively with key stakeholders across the sector, governments, and the community. Expert communication and leadership skills will complement the political awareness and credibility to engage at the most senior levels. Candidates should bring a track record of success within similar contexts.
